Meet the Kweens

Robyn O’Ladies and Charlotte Douglas, biological women and real-life sisters, have made their mark on the Charlotte scene with their all-original shows “Yes, God!”, a high-camp drag church service romp, and their annual Christmas variety show, “Yule, Y’all!”. 

After getting their start at Petra’s Bar in Plaza Midwood in 2015, the sisters had to box up their wigs, wash their pussies (Robyn has multiple cats), and move to a bigger stage at The Visulite Theatre after seeing rapid growth in attendance and popularity.

For each show, the girls piece together a thoroughly unique experience. By balancing their individual unique flavors, Robyn’s meaty theater experience pairs perfectly with Charlotte’s full-bodied eye for design. From the initial concept to finished product, Robyn and Charlotte are proud to produce quality shows that feature delicious all-original parodies, musical numbers, live singing, and comedy that pleases any palate. 

The sisters are heavily influenced by their experiences being raised in the religious south and are proud to create content that is unapologetically queer, southern, and inclusive to all. 

Robyn and Charlotte consider their hard work and hours invested in each show to be a “thank you” to their friends, fans, and family who have supported them all along.
